Now I smile knowing that it sparked a memory too- glad that it was a loving one. Thanks for sharing it.France Paulsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06275125696736597888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-929589052969709491.post-60941719628729881242015-03-15T16:53:24.544-04:002015-03-15T16:53:24.544-04:00Hi France!

I have an anecdote about the Reddish--my father (born in 1915
and long since gone) and I watched a white morph doing the "dance" one day, and Dad told me, "They do
that because they are just learning how to fish. They used to be called Cattle Egrets."!! I respected him too much to correct him, but had to stifle my laughter. Even now, when Ken and I watch one, we often
tell each other, "They're just learning how to fish!"
Thanks for the memories(and beautiful pictures)!
Patch Davis
Patch Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08859015054104360440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-929589052969709491.post-35486374886846244052015-03-12T20:20:04.511-04:002015-03-12T20:20:04.511-04:00Loved your pictures of the reddish egret....so co...Loved your pictures of the reddish egret....so comical!
AdeleAdele Jenningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16070790030548144668noreply@blogger.com
