Wild Wing day at Ding

Went to Ding this morning and it was quiet but the bird's behaviors was really entertaining.

The Reddish Egret had ample room to himself and he performed his famous dance.

The Little Blue on the other hand was quite the acrobatic.

I walked along the Wulfert Trail hoping to catch sight of the Mangrove Cuckoo which keeps eluding me - instead I spotted this juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron and watched while he preened.

His expressions were just priceless.

Looks like he's good to go.
