Friday at the Sanibel Garden Preserve

It is such a delight to get up at the crack of dawn and set foot on the trail......just me and the birds.
Good Breakfast catch, don't you think?

The Mockingbird - showing me the way....

Sometimes the birds are not where you expect them to be....what a nice surprise.

For a moment there, I thought I was on the wildlife drive a low tide.

In the Sanibel River - a small gator was eyeing his next meal.

"I don't think so."

A few Swallow-tailed Kites getting ready for the day.

I couldn't leave without stepping across the way and have a visit with the Green Herons - all looks good. My E-Bird List http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S18413880

  1. The swallow tailed kites are plentiful, but I never get tired of looking at them. You have such a wide variety of pictures never know what I will see next.
