I think you will understand in a moment why I called this post "Angelic Garden".
It may be hot and sweaty and the birds have mostly gone away but I assure you that it is far from being a dull day.
The sun is rising and opening new opportunities. |
Look through the Sanibel Garden Preserve window and see the surprises that are awaiting.... |
Roseates, Snowy, Tricolored, Great Blue.....Oh my |
Shall we venture a bit closer.... |
So many birds, such a glorious symphony....so little time |
So, what do you think?? |
Doesn't this feel like an Angelic Garden to you? |
made up of beautiful creatures - everywhere I looked |
Is there a better way to live? |
My earthly obligations are calling - so I return and pass through the Bailey Tract - admiring the Herons as they patiently hone in for their morning catch |
and have a balancing act |
looking at me and waving me on - reminding me to come back soon because |
the view is lovely. |

WOW!!! Amazing... You do have the knack for taking photos of nature
ReplyDelete…and double WOW! What incredible beauty you've captured! The Angelic Garden is aptly named, indeed! Now, I really hope to visit Sanibel Island some day. It holds a special place in my heart for two reasons. You are one of them. The other is that in the BC (Before Children) era I was an urban planner and Ian McHarg's work was very influential to me. Thank you for sharing your amazing work and brightening my day! Love, Shannon
ReplyDeleteDitto on the other 2 comments, France. You do such a good job of presenting images of the places u visit here :-) And your pics are beautiful ~ I'll have to hire you one day :-] Beth
