It's Sunday morning, the air is still and heavy with humidity, I go for a quick stroll along the shores to see who else is awaking.
Along the East End of Sanibel beaches - the Snowy Plovers are happily feeding. |
Along the Causeway several Magnificent Frigatebirds were seen catching the air currents. |
The Ospreys were busy gathering fresh material for their nest. |
Remnants from the previous day - they made me take a moment for reflection. |
Native beach/dune sunflowers are plentiful along the Causeway Island - to me they reflect happiness and joy. |
A Great Blue Heron - a regular visitor along the Causeway - note his bright plumage. |
I'm ready to start my day now, thanks for being here. |
I smiled when I saw the Frigatebirds because I know how much you like watching them.
